Our preschool classrooms focus on developing the whole child while nurturing each child’s potential, building upon successes and mastered skills. Emphasis is placed on the role that social skills and interactions play in building a foundation for meeting future academic challenges.
In our Preschool room we expand on learning through fun with Jolly Phonics, colors, shapes, numbers, vocabulary, pre-writing and self-help skills. Preschoolers will also engage in fun experiences like running, jumping, climbing, dancing, indoor as well as outdoor play all the while developing social skills as a group. The preschoolers will be able to explore in large and small learning centers activities such as: dramatic play, sensory, and science centers. At this stage, they will also start to go on field trips as well.
Preschoolers are encouraged to independently enjoy a nutritional lunch and two healthy snacks. They are also offered a nap, or should they choose, they can engage in a quiet activity and relax for 2 hours.
